Well we finally have lambs! 7 sets of twins, or doubles if you want to sound like a proper farmer! 6 girls and 8 boys - all doing fantastically well and very cute! There still might be a possibility of another 2 ewes giving birth, but has been a few weeks now since the last 2 lambs were born so we don't hold out much hope. We picked up the piglets a couple of weeks ago and they have settled well into the new home. The weather has been lovely over the past few weeks so we have been busy outside mowing lawns and planting up the veggie garden with numerous seeds, much to my chickens delight! May have to re-think about having the chicken house near the veggie patch - the way things are going they are scratching up more seeds than I can plant - arghhh! We are fully booked with the first group of guests for the Easter holidays all seem to be making good use of our indoor heated swimming pool and games room.
