The recent stormy weather, thankfully didn't do much damage, although my vegetable patch looks a bit ragged around the edges, especially the runner bean canes which are now not pointing upwards, more horizontal, I think they may need a bit of attention! The 2 larger ducklings are now on the pond and have been for a couple of weeks. Intitally they kept themselves to themselves but now seem to be intergrated with the other call ducks and have settled in well. They even don't seem to recognise Nigel, who was 'mother duck' when they were born. He is slowing coming to terms with this (Nigel, not the duck!).
Looks like a spot of nice weather for the forthcoming week, but we won't hold our breath!
