Say 'hello' to our new additions; 4 lovely ladies, that go under the names of Queenie, Rosie, Sharon and Tracey! They are 7 weeks old and are such characters. They will be with us until november, which seems such a long way away, but unfortunately will no doubt wizz by!
We lost one of the ducklings that Apricot call duck mother was looking after.  Sadly the duckling wasn't growing at all and all itis siblings were growing so much more.  They kept picking on it so we put it in insolation for a while, but it in the end he passed away.
The fanastic weather we had last week means that the vegetable garden has taken on a new lease of life and looking a lot more healthy and vibrant. At the moment we are enjoying home-grown, spring onions, tomatoes, watercress, pak choi, radishes, rhubarb, mange tout and potatoes. Some sunday lunches everything on our plates, including the meat is home-grown - what a great feeling!.
